Community Engagement Series: Wines of France
Chemeketa Cellars invites you to experience the taste of France. Once a month from January through June, winemaking instructor Johnny Brose will showcase six regions of French wines. You will enjoy eight regional wines each evening while learning about individual producers as well as the climate, terroir, varietals, and winemaking techniques of each region. This series is appropriate for all levels of wine enthusiasts, from beginners to aficionados, and is ideal for those wanting to learn more about French wine styles.
You will be provided with oyster crackers and water for palate-cleansing; you may bring alternate crackers if you have other dietary needs. You may also want to bring a notebook and pen to take notes.
