Celebrate the joy of harvest at our 7th Annual Beaujolais Nouveau Release Party
on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 6-8 pm!
Nouveau Day in France marks the annual release of Beaujolais Nouveau, a young, fresh red wine usually made from Gamay Noir grapes. Celebrated on the third Thursday of November, it’s a nationwide festival where cafés, wine shops, and bars unveil the new vintage at exactly 12:01 a.m. The day is lively and celebratory, featuring tastings, parties, street events, and the famous phrase “Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!” It’s a fun, fast-paced tradition that honors the first wine of the harvest and kicks off the holiday season in France.
At the Northwest Wine Studies Center, we bring this beloved French tradition to life. Taste and purchase Nouveau and Gamay wines from local wineries, enjoy curated food pairings, and soak in the cozy atmosphere with live jazz.
