Chemeketa Eola offers a winery background with sweeping views of the Northwest valley and casually elegant hospitality for any event. Whether you are planning a corporate event, a staff retreat, a luncheon or a party, Eola can meet your needs. Chemeketa Eola is also home to the Northwest Wine Studies Center, Chemeketa’s Wine Studies program, and the student-run Chemeketa Cellars tasting room. Eola offers three meeting rooms that can be combined into one larger space, as well as tasting room and patio space.

Bar Service Optons

The tasting room can provide bar service for your event as either a hosted or no-host bar, or a combination of the two using drink tickets. Drink pricing:

$3 – Sparkling water, sparkling juice, soda
$4 – Premium soda (United Sodas of America)
$5-$6 – Beer & cider
$6 – White wine by the glass
$8 – Red wine by the glass

Please note that no outside alcohol is allowed, including hard alcohol, and the tasting room provides all alcohol service for events taking place at Eola.

Tasting Room & Patio Rental

The tasting room and patio are available for private rental outside of tasting room hours (currently Th-F 4-8 pm and Sat 12-4 pm). Private events utilizing the tasting room and patio spaces can begin at 5 pm on Saturdays. If you are also renting a meeting room space, you can access the meeting room space earlier in the day for set-up and decorating and the tasting room for set-up and decorating starting at 4 pm. Holiday Party Rentals

DECEMBER 2026: The tasting room will be closing the week December 14-21 in order to make more dates available for holiday gatherings. If you would like to book a holiday party at Chemeketa Eola that week, you will not need to work around tasting room hours and can book any date and time (as long as it is not already booked by another user.) Please email eolaevents@chemeketa.edu to inquire about availability.

Wedding Rental Information

$8,000 for three-day access Friday – Sunday (tasting room closed Friday and Saturday)
- Friday: Noon-10 pm
- Saturday: 8am-11 pm
- Sunday: 8am-3pm
Personal and rental items can be dropped off starting at noon on Friday and must be removed by 3 pm on Sunday
Rehearsal and/or rehearsal dinner availability included on Friday
NOTE: Chemeketa Eola does not provide wedding coordination services – all wedding parties are required to hire a wedding coordinator to help plan and staff the event. The wedding coordinator must meet with Chemeketa staff early on in the process so that parameters and logistical requirements can be shared.

Policies & Insurance

Payment Policy

Full payment is due no later than three weeks prior to your event. You can pay via credit card online or pay by check. (If you are scheduling your event with less than three weeks’ lead time, you can work with the venue on an alternate payment timeline.)

Cancellation Policy

Your event may be cancelled without penalty three weeks prior to the event. Cancellation within three weeks will require a payment of 50% of the total rental price (or a 50% refund if you have already paid.)

Special Event Liability Insurance

Chemeketa Community College requires that groups obtain special event liability insurance coverage for their meeting or event. This can be obtained through a personal or corporate insurance company or online from websites like www.specialeventinsurance.com or www.eventsured.com. Clients also take advantage of PACE’s TULIP insurance program, which provides lower-cost special event insurance for groups using college facilities.

The basic coverage offered will satisfy Chemeketa’s requirements. (Note: Liquor coverage is automatically included for the Chemeketa Eola, so there is no need to add additional liquor coverage if your event includes alcohol service.)
